Two-party consent

A recording rule requiring every party on a call to consent to being recorded.

Two-party consent, sometimes called all-party consent, is a legal requirement in some jurisdictions that everyone on a call must consent before it can be recorded. Other places follow one-party consent, where only one participant needs to agree. Which applies depends on where the parties are located.

Because rules vary, many teams disclose recording on every call and detect that the disclosure was given. This is general information, not legal advice; confirm your obligations with counsel.
